Sitel Appoints Bert Quintana as Global Chief Operations Officer


NASHVILLE, Tenn. --(Business Wire)-- Sitel, a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, today announced the appointment of Bert Quintana to the position of global chief operations officer. Quintana will be responsible for Sitel's worldwide operations and report directly to President and CEO Dave Garner.

Quintana's directive is to continue to enhance the alignment between companies outsourcing contact center operations and Sitel's capabilities from a people, process and technology perspective. Quintana joins Sitel from Dell (News - Alert), Inc., where he served as vice president of Dell International Services. At Dell, Quintana was responsible for the Company's captive and outsourced international English Speaking BPO activities, including site start-up and growth in India, the Philippines and El Salvador; contact center strategy and deployment; and customer experience initiatives to drive differentiated performance from offshore locations. Prior to joining Dell, Quintana held various executive management positions at Westec Security, Inc., TYCO/ADT Security Services, Inc. and MCI Telecommunications, Inc.
