China BAK Announces Investor Relations Activities in Europe
SHENZHEN, China, July 28, 2009 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
China BAK Battery,
Inc. ("China BAK", the "Company", or "we") (Nasdaq: CBAK), one of the largest
lithium-ion battery cell manufacturers in the world, as measured by production
output, today announced its plan for major investor relations activities in
the coming weeks:
The company will conduct a non-deal road show in Paris, London, Geneva and
Zurich to selected investors starting from July 30. The complete road show
will last for one week.
Separately, we will present at the upcoming Global Clean Technology
Conference ("Conference") in London held by Jefferies & Company, Inc. on
September 30.
In these activities, the Company will introduce itself to European-based
investors face-to-face for the first time, and present strategies and products
in New Energy Cells to these investors. Tony Shen, China BAK's Chief Financial
Officer, will conduct the road show and present at the Conference on behalf of
the Company.
