NTT America appoints VPs at Global IP Network BusinessJul 06, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- NTT Communications' US subsidiary NTT America has appointed Michael Wheeler as vice president of its Global IP Network Business Unit. Shuichi Ikeda will replace him as vice president of sales and business development of the unit. Wheeler succeeds Kazuhiro Gomi, who was recently named COO of NTT America. Before joining NTT, Wheeler was part of the original start-up team at Verio. Before that he worked at StreamGroup and Expotel. Ikeda joined the company in 1992.
