[July 02, 2009] 'Versatel Telekabel signs contract with housing association' Tweet Jul 02, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- German federal housing corporation and real estate association HWG has signed an agreement with Versatel's cable network subsidiary Versatel Telekabel for the provision of multimedia services. Versatel Telekabel will provide analogue and digital radio and TV, internet, home phone and mobile phone services to around 20,000 homes from 11 July 2010, replacing existing service provider S+K ServiceKabel. There will no increase in fees for HWG tenants, with the cost of cable TV fixed at EUR 14.90 per month for the next three years. To provide the services, Versatel Telekabel will build a new fibre-based broadband network in the Halle area.
