[July 01, 2009] Aria Taps Alvarion Solution for a Nationwide Mobile WiMAX Network in Italy Tweet Jun 30, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Alvarion, a provider of WiMAX and wireless broadband solutions, and Aria, a telecom operator in Italy with a national WiMAX license, announced an agreement to deploy Mobile WiMAX network throughout Italy. According to officials, under the agreement, Aria will build a network at the 3.5 GHz frequency to offer broadband services to all 21 Italian regions using Alvarion's 4Motion Mobile WiMAX solution incorporating the WiMAX Forum Certified BreezeMAX platform.
