Qwest Honored by CiscoJun 24, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Qwest Communications was recently named recipient of three Cisco Partner Summit awards: US & Canada Service Provider Partner of the Year, Service Provider Advanced Technology Partner of the Year, and Service Provider Services Partner of the Year. Cisco unveiled the winners June 2 at its annual partner conference in Boston. "I have the honor and privilege of recognizing Qwest as a Cisco Partner Summit regional and theater award winner," said Wendy Bahr, senior vice president, U.S. and Canada channels at Cisco. "The US & Canada Service Provider Partner of the Year, Service Provider Advanced Technology Partner of the Year and Service Provider Services Partner of the Year awards recognize Qwest's performance and accomplishments as a Cisco channel partner in the United States in 2008." Cisco Partner Summit awards are presented at three levels: regional, theater and global.
