Qwest Honored by Cisco

Jun 24, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Qwest Communications was recently named recipient of three Cisco Partner Summit awards: US & Canada Service Provider Partner of the Year, Service Provider Advanced Technology Partner of the Year, and Service Provider Services Partner of the Year.



Cisco unveiled the winners June 2 at its annual partner conference in Boston.

"I have the honor and privilege of recognizing Qwest as a Cisco Partner Summit regional and theater award winner," said Wendy Bahr, senior vice president, U.S. and Canada channels at Cisco. "The US & Canada Service Provider Partner of the Year, Service Provider Advanced Technology Partner of the Year and Service Provider Services Partner of the Year awards recognize Qwest's performance and accomplishments as a Cisco channel partner in the United States in 2008." "Receiving Cisco Partner Summit awards for two years now is especially meaningful because it speaks directly to Qwest's commitment to deepen our partnerships," said Eric Bozich, vice president of Qwest Business Markets Group Product Management. "It is in the DNA of both Qwest and Cisco to develop long-lasting customer relationships by identifying needs and delivering solutions that support our end-user customers' success." Cisco Partner Summit awards are presented at three levels: regional, theater and global. Cisco Partner Summit US & Canada regional awards reflect a partner's performance in a given geographic region of the United States or Canada.
