Baidu to Bundle "Aladdin" with Its Japanese Search Platform

BEIJING, Apr 16, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- The world's largest Chinese-language Internet search service provider Baidu Inc. (Nasdaq: BIDU) will launch an information search platform in Japan, the most developed mobile Internet country in the world, in April, Li Yinan, chief technology officer of Baidu, disclosed at the Mobile Internet Forum and the global IPv6 Summit in Beijing on April 15.

It will be a significant move in the Japanese market. There are increasing signs that the Chinese search giant has worked on an important effort to embed its latest Aladdin search platform into wireless search service.

The platform is dedicated to offering the most convenient information attainment pattern to users, and they can get unobstructed and exact search results without cost via the platform. In the platform, the search engine technology can deeper analyze, integrate, and process all the information including the hidden Web with uncountable information beyond the current limits of the Web contents.
