EntropySoft Signs Technology Contract with Attivio

Mar 31, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- EntropySoft, a specialist in the enterprise content integration (ECI) market, announced a technology agreement with Attivio.

Attivio is integrating a wide selection of bidirectional enterprise connectors from EntropySoft into its Active Intelligence Engine (AIE).

The inclusion of EntropySoft technology expands out-of-the-box connectivity for Attivio customers, increasing access to critical information across the enterprise, the groups noted.

The pact will enable Attivio to integrate a portfolio of more than 30 read/write connectors. Enterprise Content Management Systems are present in EntropySoft's portfolio, and all connectors have been fully tested on large implementations in critical business projects.

"At Attivio, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer customers unprecedented access to the wealth of information residing in their structured and unstructured data," said Sid Probstein, CTO of Attivio. "Through this partnership with EntropySoft, we are excited to be able to provide an even faster and deeper level of connectivity for companies looking to integrate various content repositories and collaboration systems from across the enterprise, including Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint, and familiar systems from IBM, Oracle and EMC." "With increased pressure on indexing every piece of information inside the enterprise, content access has become a top priority of enterprise search. There is an increasing number of content repositories in most companies. Today, we deliver to Attivio critical connectivity to all these repositories," said Nicolas Maquaire, CEO and co-founder of EntropySoft. "We also bring to this partnership our vast expertise in content-centric applications and interoperability."
