[March 24, 2009] Business Development Bank of Canada Taps Trellia Tweet Mar 23, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Trellia Networks, a provider of Mobile Policy Management software, announced that the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) deployed Trellia's solution to enable the secure use of Wi-Fi by its mobile workforce. Prior to deploying Trellia, bank policy required that Wi-Fi be disabled on end-user notebooks in order to avoid risks from eavesdropping, man-in-the-middle attacks or network bridging. BDC is Canada's business development bank. From 100 offices across the country, BDC promotes entrepreneurship by providing highly tailored financing, venture capital and consulting services to entrepreneurs. BDC was named among Canada's Top 100 Employers in 2007, 2008 and 2009. "Increased demand from our mobile workers forced us to consider how to allow Wi-Fi use.
