'Vodafone Romania launches SMS quiz contest'(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Vodafone Romania has launched an SMS quiz contest called 'A month of thousands of euros', which takes place between 4 March and 29 March. In order to register for the contest, subscribers need to send an SMS to the Vodafone number 200. Upon registration, participants receive multiple-answer questions to which they have to answer correctly by sending the number of the correct answer via SMS. Upon sending their answers, users will receive an SMS which tells them if they answered correctly and another SMS which includes a new question. At the end of each day, the participant with the highest number of accumulated points will be awarded with 1000 national minutes monthly available for a period of one year. Also, the participant with the highest number of accumulated points per week will receive EUR 20,000. Every sent SMS is charged with EUR 1 (VAT included), while SMSs sent to the number 200 are free of charge.
