InTouch Selects AFORE to Deliver Advanced Virtual Data Center Services
OTTAWA, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- AFORE Solutions, Inc., a leader in the design and delivery of technology solutions for the networking industry, today announced that InTouch N.V., a leading provider of advanced cloud computing and virtual data center services has selected the AFORE ASE3300 advanced service delivery platform to more effectively extend their current services to customers, and to enable new business services. InTouch offers its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions across eight European countries and is using AFORE's ASE3300 to enhance their storage, server and data center virtualization extension solutions.

The ASE3300 is designed to optimize data center resources, enable enhanced service delivery, reduce operating costs and improve business agility.

The ASE3300 attaches to existing IP or Ethernet wide area networks and creates 'virtual wire' connectivity using HyperTUNNEL technology while leveraging AFORE's packet loss recovery, data encryption, in-flight lossless data compression and jumbo frame MTU transparency technologies. ASE3300 extends both server and storage networks, supporting native Fibre Channel (FC), with distance extension capabilities, seamless support for iSCSI and emerging Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) standards, to provide a migration path for data center environments requiring the flexibility to support a range of storage networking technologies.
