ITP striving to make Islamabad Model City

Islamabad Traffic Police is striving to make Islamabad a Model City and minimize the accident ratio by educating road users and strict implementation of traffic rules. SSP (Traffic) Muhammad Zubair Hashmi said addressing a road safety education workshop organized by ITP here at Naval Headquarters.
The aim of holding the workshops is to acquaint the citizens with traffic laws and regulations and inculcate traffic sense among the road users. Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) arranged road safety education workshop at Naval HQ Islamabad to educate the officers/officials of institution regarding traffic rules, regulations and road safety tips. The concluding ceremony was attended by Muhammad Zubair Hashmi, SSP Traffic, Islamabad & Naval Commander Rizwan Munawar.
The SSP (Traffic) in his address said the aim of holding of such programme is to create a traffic sense among the citizens, advising them that a driver should honour others rights especially the pedestrians while driving. He said a minor negligence of a driver can cause an accident and endanger the lives of many. ITP is striving to provide safer journey to road users and utilizing all available resources. At conclusion certificates were awarded to the participants by the SSP Traffic, Islamabad and souvenir was given to Naval Commander Rizwan Munawar.
