Motorola Ships 1,000 High-Density Downstream Modules to Cable Operators Worldwide, Expanding Personalized Media ExperiencesHORSHAM, Pa., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Motorola, Inc. today announced that the company has provided international cable customers with more than 1,000 units of its TX32 Decoupled Downstream Module. The TX32 enables operators to quickly deploy ultra-broadband services of up to 200 Mbps downstream, while achieving as much as 60% in cost savings per downstream channel. The industry's highest-density downstream module, the TX32 is the latest innovation added to the widely deployed DOCSIS(R) 3.0 CableLabs(R) Bronze Qualified Motorola BSR 64000 Integrated CMTS/edge router solution.
