Shore Communications Adds Two Marketing ExpertsWESTPORT, Conn., Feb 10, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Shore Communications Inc. The two are Laurie Webster, a market assessment specialist and designer of sales and research systems, and John Buckman, a marketing and communications consultant. Buckman also has long-standing ties to the information and publishing industries. He has developed and managed marketing and communications programs for clients such as Dialog, Information Access Company, Infotrieve, Gale Group, Ibisworld and others. He has served on the board of the Software and Information Industry Association's Content Division. As a business writer, Buckman has been widely published, including in Barron's, Business Week, Forbes and FORTUNE. For many years, he wrote a column about technology issues for the U.K.'s Investor Relations Magazine. Before launching his consultancy in the late 1980s, Buckman was director of marketing for PR Newswire and a managing editor for the American Express Company. He also worked as a journalist in Washington, D.C., London and Johannesburg, South Africa.
