Dynamic Network Services Inc. Announces Growth, 2009 Plans

MANCHESTER, N.H. --(Business Wire)--

Dynamic Network Services Inc. (Dyn Inc.) is proud to announce record growth and profits for 2008 matching the company's considerable technology developments. In its tenth year, Dyn Inc. had its best sales results. 2009 will prove to be just as exciting with the planned release of native IPv6 DNS, DNSSEC and global server load balancing from Dynect Traffic Management.

The company serves more than 2 million enterprises and consumers in 202 countries around the globe. In Q4, Dyn Inc. welcomed 30 new enterprises to the Dynect Platform from a variety of industries. Social networking companies like Mediafed and Gigya and technology providers like Tierpoint, eSoft and DXo have all chosen the Dynect Platform for their DNS needs. In 2008, the company increased personnel by 25% with strategic additions to development, support, design, sales and marketing.

Handling trillions of DNS responses a year is a tough job for any network. With billions of IP updates to process, Dyn Inc. invests heavily in its network and infrastructure. The company manages an anycast network of 10 data centers in Europe, Asia and North America. 2009 expansion plans include the addition of at least three more data centers and planned moves to larger facilities for increased bandwidth and growth potential.

"Expanding our global data center footprint is critical in addressing the needs of our ever-growing customer base," said Tom Daly, CTO. "Through expansion to further North American and international facilities, we ensure that our best of breed solutions continue to be delivered on a dynamic and flexible infrastructure."

Constantly working to improve the technology behind its services, Dyn Inc. launched a number of updates and new products in 2008. DynDNS.com was updated with new versions of MailHop, SSL certificates, and domain registration. The Dynect Platform received upgrades to its user interface, load balancing and improved IP tracking for managing reverse DNS for dynamic IP addresses.

2008 saw the launch of the DynDNS Spring Server Virtual Private Server (VPS). Offered through DynDNS.com, the Spring Server VPS offers customers access to dedicated virtual servers with variable storage and IPv4/IPv6 connectivity.

In addition to the continued improvements to DynDNS.com and the Dynect Platform, Dyn Inc. has a number of exciting developments scheduled for 2009. The company is currently provisioning IPv6 connectivity with its carriers to serve DNS queries over IPv6 in early Q1. The company already offers IPv6 through its Spring Server VPS.

Despite the impact of the worldwide economy, Dyn Inc. is projecting consistent growth for 2009. "2008 proved to be a banner year for Dyn Inc.," said Jeremy Hitchcock, CEO Dyn Inc. "Despite shrinking IT budgets, companies around the world are realizing the critical importance of DNS to manage cloud, virtualized, and traditionally hosted infrastructure. Our competitive pricing and superior product position us well for the challenging times ahead."

The company won a number of awards in 2008 including Business NH's "Best Companies to Work For," New Hampshire Business Review's "Business Excellence Awards, New Hampshire Division of Economic Development's "Innovation Rocks," and the Small Business Administrations "Young Entrepreneurs of the Year."

Dyn Inc. is planning to attend a number of tradeshows and conferences in 2009. Visit the company at Interop Las Vegas this May at booth #268.
