[January 13, 2009] 'Epitiro to analyse femtocell calls for operator' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A global mobile network operator (MNO) has selected Epitiro to assess the quality of femtocell-based calls across the broadband networks of Europe's leading ISPs, in a research project thought to be the first of its kind. Epitiro will utilise its Femtocell Test Suite and ISP-I network to automate femtocell traffic and analyse voice quality from a customer experience viewpoint. Test scenarios for the pre-deployment analysis will include Femtocell call sessions to and from other Femtocell access points, the PSTN (local and international), cellular and VoIP endpoints.
