businesses, today announced the appointment of David Eads as Vice
President of Sales. Eads will report directly to the CEO, Arthur
Chang. With more than a decade of experience in sales leadership
roles, Eads is ideally suited to lead PanTerra Networks' worldwide
sales efforts, as well as directly contribute to the company's
overall growth in the unified communications market.
Eads came to PanTerra Networks from Fonality Inc. As VP of Sales for
Fonality, he recruited and managed a national sales team since day
one when the company was founded. Under his leadership Fonality's
customer base grew to over 5,000 businesses and over 125,000 end
users. Eads also built Fonality's PBXtra channel program and grew it
to several thousand channel partners worldwide in twenty-two
countries. Before joining Fonality, Eads was Director of Sales at
Wayport Inc. (acquired by AT&T), where he grew revenue by 380% in one
and a half years and signed numerous fortune 500 strategic
partnerships such as Intel, Sony, Microsoft, SBC and ATT Wireless.
Prior to that, Eads held senior level sales leadership positions at
Fourthstage Technologies and Net-Tel Corporation.
