Nianet to deploy BroadSoft's BroadWorks VoIP application platformNov 14, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Nianet, a Danish provider of virtual private network and internet services, has announced that it will use BroadSoft's BroadWorks VoIP application platform to deliver hosted unified communications services to enterprises throughout Denmark. According to BroadSoft, the service is named Fibertel and will use its BroadWorks platform to provide Hosted PBX, unified messaging and advanced calling features to enterprise customers. Nianet will implement the BroadWorks Anywhere Fixed-Mobile Convergence feature, which facilitates sticky handover between IP and GSM/3G environments. Steen Jeppesen, director of business development for Nianet, said: "We evaluated a number of hosted telephony solutions but we felt that BroadWorks offered our customers a solution they can implement quickly. "Also, the platform's well-documented APIs enables us to integrate it with our billing and customer portal solution.
