(Norwalk, CT – November 12, 2008) — Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC (News - Alert)) today launched a new blog titled “Sip and Serve by a Foodie,” to be written by, David Byrd (News - Alert) and featured on www.tmcnet.com
 

Byrd, vice president of sales and marketing at Broadvox, is the newest addition to TMC’s roster of distinguished bloggers on TMCnet, including TMC President  Rich Tehrani, CTO and TMC Labs founder Tom Keating, Group Editorial Director for TMC's IP Communications product group Greg Galitzine. Byrd is responsible for the Broadvox marketing and channel sales programs to SMBs, enterprises and carriers. Prior to joining Broadvox, Byrd was vice president of channels and alliances for Eftia and Telcordia (News - Alert). As director of eBusiness development with i2 Technologies, he developed major partnerships with many of the leaders in Internet eCommerce and supply chain management. As chief executive officer of Planet Hollywood Online, he was a pioneer in using early Internet technologies to build a branded entertainment and eCommerce Web site company partnered with Planet Hollywood. In his more than 20 years of Telecom sales and marketing experience, Byrd has held executive positions with Hewlett-Packard, Sprint and Ericsson (News - Alert).
