Support for IPv6, the emerging Internet protocol, is mandatory for new network components in the U.S. public sector as of June 2008. Other global governments including Japan and Europe have similar mandates coming into effect through 2010. The new technology supports the powerful features available in SEH's PS print servers for Zebra printers. IPv6 not only solves the imminent IP address shortage due to the still predominant protocol IPv4, but provides the foundation for future technological development as well. Development of IPv6-enabled Software for Public Sector Market Completed in just six months, SEH developed and tested the IPv6- enabled network solution for Zebra Technologies.
