Allworx Names Jeff Howe as President

Allworx, a company that develops Internet Protocol-based (IP) phone
systems that deliver new capabilities and efficiency to small and
medium-size businesses, announced that Jeff W. Howe has been named
President.

Howe brings to the role eighteen years of senior management experience
in the wireless, software and telecommunications industries and eight
years tenure at Paetec, where he held numerous vice-president roles. In
his new role, Howe will be responsible for leading the Company's
day-to-day operations, business development, product development and
aggressive Channel strategy.

During his eight-year tenure at Paetec, Howe was responsible for
driving revenue growth in excess of $600 million over the course of
several vice-president roles leading national accounts and strategic
business development. As Vice-President/General Manager for Paetec's
agent channel, he was also responsible for national agent sales. Howe's
program was repeatedly recognized as a top agent channel program by
telecommunications publications, including Phone+ magazine.

Howe began his career with Motorola Communications in 1983, where he
served in various executive roles including 11 years as regional
manager. Prior to Motorola, Howe spent nine years in progressively
responsible roles at Global Crossing, and later served as
vice-president of sales for One Communications.


Howe serves on the boards of the Ronald McDonald House and the Credit
Education Bureau. He is also President of the Rochester Futbol Club, a
youth soccer organization.
