[October 24, 2008] RoutIT selects Broadsoft for UC solution Tweet (Corporate IT Update Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BroadSoft Inc, a provider of voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP) applications to the telecomms industry, today announced that its BroadWorks application platform has been selected by Dutch wholesale ISP RoutIT to deliver voice and multimedia services to the small-medium enterprise market in the Netherlands. The company said that it delivers connectivity, security, hosting and storage services to more than 500 system integrators and 20,000 businesses in the Netherlands, which has a market potential of 100,000 IP Centrex ports. RoutIT is deploying the BroadWorks platform to initially enrich that service offering with IP Centrex telephone services. Additionally RoutIT will use the BroadSoft Xtended program to allow its resellers to customise applications for specific enterprise workflow requirements. No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
