MetaCarta to Present at the Mobile Internet World

MetaCarta, a provider of geographic search and referencing solutions,
announced Bob Warren, Vice President of Products at MetaCarta, will
speak about location based search on two separate panels at Mobile
Internet World.

MetaCarta said it will also be exhibiting at the conference.

privacy with mobile location based services, location based mobile
marketing and location based search. When: Thursday, October 23 at 2 PM

Panel 2: Does LBS have a Future Beyond Navigation? While location-based

services for consumers have enjoyed a fair amount of hype during the
past year, no one can argue with the success enjoyed by mobile
navigation services, which are consistently one of the most popular
services carriers offer today. However, other applications like friend
finders, family finders, location-based marketing and location-based
shopping have found meager uptake in many markets. Is there a consumer
market for other LBS applications besides navigation? When: Thursday,
