Sybase Schedules 2008 Third Quarter Financial Results Webcast

Sybase announced that Chairman, CEO and President John Chen, and Senior
Vice President and CFO Jeff Ross will discuss the company's 2008 third
quarter results via live audio Webcast.

In a release, the company noted event details:

WHEN: Tuesday, October 21, at 7:30 a.m. Pacific Time/10:30 a.m. Eastern
Time.

WHERE: Go to the Sybase investor relations page at
http://www.sybase.com/about_sybase/investorrelations and click on the
Web cast banner. The Webcast can also be accessed from
http://www.fulldisclosure.com, and enter our ticker symbol "SY" in the
ticker search box.

Participants will be prompted for name and company affiliation.



Participants must have Windows Media Player installed on their systems
to participate. Please allow for time to download and prepare system
prior to the Webcast. The Webcast will also be archived at
http://www.fulldisclosure.com.
