Algor, a provider of design, analysis and simulation software,
announced a licensing and services agreement with Senai, the National
Service for Industrial Apprenticeship of Brazil.

Algor reported that it is donating $2.2 million in licenses of its
multiphysics analysis software, which will be incorporated into the
educational curriculum at the Senai units of Joinville-SC and Caxias do
Sul-RS.

RCTASK, an Algor Authorized Reseller headquartered in Sertaozinho, Sao
Paulo, Brazil, will provide services to Senai including training and
technical support.

"Having the capability to educate our students in the use of leading
computer-aided engineering tools, such as Algor finite element analysis
software, furthers our mission of advancing Brazilian industry," said
Prof. Sergio Roberto Arruda, Regional Director at the Senai unit of
Joinville-SC.

"Due to Brazil's rapid economic growth, use of design, analysis and
simulation software is greatly increasing in the manufacturing sector,"
said Antonio Pedro Lourenco, Operations Manager of RCTASK. "Allowing
Senai students to learn about Algor software helps to better prepare
them for professional engineering careers, which will help to improve
the local industrial community."

Algor software's range of simulation capabilities includes: static
stress with linear and nonlinear material models; Mechanical Event
Simulation (MES) for nonlinear, multi-body dynamics with large-scale
motion, large deformation and large strain with body-to-body contact;
linear dynamics; fatigue; CFD including steady-state and transient heat
transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow and mass transfer;
electrostatics; full multiphysics; and piping.
