[October 07, 2008] Amdocs signs six-year agreement for managed services with MetroPCS Communications Inc Tweet (Corporate IT Update Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), a company that provides software and services to the communication service industry, revealed yesterday (6 October) that MetroPCS Communications Inc (NYSE:PCS) has signed a six-year agreement for managed services with the company. MetroPCS will license billing, operational support systems (OSS) and customer care products from Amdocs CES 7.5, the company's Customer Experience Systems product portfolio. The agreement will support MetroPCS' wireless plans and license the CES 7.5 suite of products, in addition. The agreement further states that the company will provide billing and operational support services to allow MetroPCS to transition from it present system to the CES 7.5 suite of products. The financial terms were not disclosed.
