Evident Software Unveils ClearStone Live for Oracle Coherence(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Evident Software, a provider of solutions for metering, monitoring, reporting and chargeback for real time infrastructure (RTI), announced the release of Evident ClearStone Live for Oracle Coherence (ECS Live) at Oracle OpenWorld 2008. According to the company, ECS Live puts a "face" on Coherence, enabling users to better monitor, manage and optimize their data grids. It helps developers and architects optimize performance and resource usage, enables operations staff to track cache activity and data grid health before outages affect the business, and helps the business and IT better plan and manage their applications' demand for shared, virtual data cache resources. Related products address the compute grid infrastructure. Evident ClearStone Live for Oracle Coherence (ECS Live) offers real-time visualizations, based on Adobe Flex, that run on most browsers. ECS Live embeds an autonomic operational cache, based on Oracle Coherence, which enables 'flight recorder' capabilities, the company said. "Real-time applications and infrastructures like Coherence require condenses large amounts of data into dashboards, heat maps, trends and events that can are readily used by developers, operations and users," comments Roger Boyce, CEO. "This improves on current methods that are incomplete or slow, often leaving users unable to efficiently manage high performance, distributed computing environments.
