Avaya's Lawrence Byrd Keynotes Communications Developer Conference

Technology Marketing Corp. (TMC) announced that Lawrence Byrd,
Director, Unified Communications Architecture for Avaya, has agreed to
deliver a keynote address at its Communications Developer Conference,
being held through September, 18, at the Los Angeles Convention Center
in Los Angeles.

Communications Developer Conference is the only event focusing on the
needs of both companies and individuals creating new applications for
broadband telephony networks. The event is featuring three days of
educational sessions, keynote speeches by Avaya, Cisco, and Texas
Instruments, two networking receptions, and an Exhibit Hall with as
many as 25 exhibiting companies.

"Lawrence Byrd helps drive the definition and communication of Avaya's
solution strategy," explained Rich Tehrani, TMC President and
Conference Chairman. "Based on his impressive experience which spans
more than two decades, I believe his vision about the future of IP
Communications will undoubtedly resonate with the audience at
Communications Developer."

Lawrence Byrd is Director of Unified Communications Architecture and


helps drive the definition and communication of Avaya's intelligent
communications strategy. Lawrence has eighteen years of communications,
CRM and contact center experience and thirty years of advanced software
and Internet experience. Lawrence was co-founder of Quintus Corp. in
1984 where he held executive positions in software development,
marketing and strategy. Quintus was a provider of multimedia contact
center software that was acquired by Avaya in 2001.
