Recognizing that communications systems, especially infrastructure designed for cellular backhaul, as well as Triple Play services, require exact synchronization to be backhauled over Ethernet and IP packet-switched networks, Symmetricom developed a portfolio of Grand Master Clock solutions to support IEEE 1588V2 to ensure the highest possible level of synchronization over the NGN.
