Ticket News Announces Top Ticket Sellers for Week Ending August 30, 2008(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) VERNON, CT, September 3 / MARKET WIRE/ -- TicketNews announces top ticket sellers rankings for the week ending August 30, 2008. TOP 20 OVERALL SELLERS Ticketmaster has made it no secret that they are looking to expand into international markets in order to offset the potential losses, but this past week the ticketing giant took a hit to that effort as promoter AEG chose to partner with German ticketing giant CTS Eventim, rather than Ticketmaster. After losing out on AEG, Ticketmaster turned its attention to the far east as they look to reassure investors by looking to expand into China. Over the past week, Ticketmaster maintained its lead over everyone else on the ticket market with a power score of 43.34. StubHub and TicketsNow finished second and third, respectively, this past week with CoasttoCoastTickets and RazorGator moving up one spot each in the top ten.
