Tango Networks' Abrazo Achieves Validated Interoperability with BroadSoft BroadWorks

RICHARDSON, Texas --(Business Wire)-- Tango Networks(TM), the leader in seamless enterprise fixed-mobile convergence for unified communications, today announced the completion of interoperability testing with BroadSoft BroadWorks(R).

BroadSoft's service provider customer base can now offer a complete fixed-mobile convergence solution for enterprises that extends the BroadWorks suite of value-added services to any mobile device. Combining Tango Networks' Abrazo(TM) with BroadWorks, operators can extend their mobile services into the enterprise, opening the door to enterprise-wide agreements, reducing customer support demands, decreasing churn, and growing market share. The Abrazo's unique hybrid architecture integrates with existing enterprise voice network infrastructures while extending BroadWorks' features and policies to any mobile phone with or without the use of a corresponding desk phone, to address the needs of the increasingly mobile workforce.

"BroadSoft is a key partner to many of our mobile operator customers, making interoperability with the BroadWorks product a key strategic initiative for us," stated Andrew Silver, chief technology officer and co-founder of Tango Networks. "By offering Abrazo integrated with BroadWorks, operators can deliver a robust FMC option that mobilizes the powerful features of the BroadWorks hosted communications solution for any mobile phone."

"Prior to Tango, fixed-mobile convergence was a niche product with both device and feature limitations," said Ken Rokoff, Vice President of Business Development at BroadSoft. "However, the integration of Abrazo with BroadWorks provides a highly compelling solution, enabling mobile operators worldwide to offer the power of fixed-mobile convergence for enterprise."

In addition, Tango Networks is a sponsor for BroadSoft Connections 2008, the BroadSoft executive user conference, to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, October 5-8.
