Moblyng Bolsters Mobile Content

(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Moblyng, a provider of mobile social media, announced the launch of the
expanded mobile component of its website.

According to the company, consumers now have a mobile destination site
to browse the best and coolest content: m.moblyng.com. Moblyng mobile
allows mobile users to view thousands of videos, slide shows and photos
from top MySpace profiles, YouTube and other social media sites.
Content will be available for viewing on mobile devices without the
user having to download any applications.

The company also unveiled its new mobilize me button on MySpace
profiles such as the Crystal Method, SRC/Universal artist O'Neal
McKnight, and others which allows users to enter their phone numbers
and immediately have videos, pictures and slideshows sent to their
phone for anytime viewing. These product debuts follow the company's
May 2008 beta launch, in which more than 100,000 consumers have used
Moblyng to share slide shows, photos and videos from social networks on
their mobile devices, the company said.

"The response to Moblyng has been tremendous in terms of sheer numbers
and user feedback," said Stewart Putney, founder and CEO, Moblyng.
"This early success is exciting for two reasons: it is a validation
that people want to view and share social media on mobile devices, and
it has allowed us to identify the most popular categories that people
want on their mobile devices. We make it easier than ever for consumers
to browse and share the coolest content. Our approach allows users to
easily watch great social media content on their mobile devices without
downloading any applications."
