Sapient Names Ronald Shamah as VP of Global Media Services

Sapient, a global services firm, announced it has named Ronald Shamah
vice president of global media services.

Shamah is charged with leading the company's four domains of media
services, including media strategy, planning, buying and operations.
Shamah, a former vice president at Citigroup, is based in Sapient's New
York offices.

Shamah's appointment will allow Sapient Interactive to further expand
the depth and breadth of its online and offline media capabilities,
according to Sapient chief creative officer Gaston Legorburu. A
well-known interactive marketing and media expert, Shamah brings a
track record of success in creating marketing programs and processes
that drive customer acquisition, satisfaction and retention to Sapient.
During his tenure at Citigroup, Shamah drove a series of highly
successful online marketing and branding campaigns - all of which
generated outstanding rates of customer acquisition and retention for
the financial services firm.

"By merging creative, marketing, technology and media expertise into
one cohesive service offering, Sapient has established a real
leadership position in the global interactive industry, " said
Legorburu. "Ron will play an integral role in helping Sapient uphold
this model by delivering customized and integrated online and offline
campaigns that drive demonstrable and repeatable results for leading
brands. "

Shamah has fifteen years of professional experience, with eight years
in marketing, online advertising, customer acquisition and business
development. During his tenure at Citigroup, he played a lead role in
the Citibank Direct team that developed the e-Savings product. In this
position, he was responsible for marketing and business development
functions. the company noted in a release.
