This summer, the Arts and Design Society will hold its five-day summer program designed to introduce children to a variety of art mediums during July and August.

The Kid's Fine Art Camp features a different activity each day. Sessions will be held July 7-11 and Aug. 4-8 at ADSO's Art Center Workshop at 17 First St. SE in Fort Walton Beach.

A week of clay classes will be held July 21-24. The cost is $50 with all supplies included.

To register, call Marcy Eady at 244-1271 or email adso@artsdesignsociety.com for more information. For more details about ADSO, go to www.ArtsDesignSociety. com.

Taco Bell helps with

reading program

DESTIN -- This summer children ages 13 and younger will have a reading partner at the Destin Library.

Local Taco Bell franchisees have supplied the library with Summer Reading Program coupon bookmarks.

Bookmark coupons will be available at the circulation desk. Children participating in the program must read 10 books during the summer, record book titles on a special bookmark and then secure the signature of a library staff member before redeeming coupons at local Taco Bell restaurants.

Area businesses interested in supporting summertime or other programs for children and young adults at the Destin Library are encouraged to call Will Rogers at 837-8572.
