BroadSoft Launches Channel Partner Program

(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
At NXTcomm08, BroadSoft, a provider of VoIP application software,
announced the Channel Partner Program as part of the company's ongoing
global growth strategy.

The Channel Partner Program expands BroadSoft's existing Original
Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) relationships for the BroadWorks VoIP
application platform into new local and vertical markets. Channel
Partner Program members can also leverage BroadSoft Xtended, the
company's initiative for development of Web 2.0 applications that are
integrated with BroadWorks.

The BroadWorks platform has been selected by nearly 300 service
providers in 59 countries to deliver advanced voice and multimedia
services to SMBs, large enterprises and residential users.

The BroadSoft Channel Partner Program complements BroadSoft's talented
Sales operation by leveraging qualified channel partners in specific
market segments. Under the program, channel partners will have access
to technical, marketing and branding materials through an online
portal, as well as sales support. The program ensures consistently
high-quality service by certifying its personnel with BroadWorks via
BroadSoft's online training and certification programs.

"Partners choose to work with companies that implement best practices,
maintain rich and useful partner portals and provide proven sales and
marketing resources," said Ken Rokoff, Vice President of Business
Development for BroadSoft. "We make it easy for partners to offer our
solutions and give them the support they need to be successful."

Channel partners qualify for the program to offer BroadWorks-based

business and residential services based on their technology expertise,
pre-existing service provider relationships and customer base. In
addition, channel partners will have access to the Xtended Services
Interface, which will enable them to integrate BroadWorks calling
features with web-based applications for the accelerated creation of
new services.

Prior to the launch, 50 existing partners formally joined the Channel
Partners Program.

"With the formalization of the processes, and additional training and
certification, we expect that it will become even easier to build,
support, manage and innovate solutions based on the BroadWorks
platform," said Andrew Briggs, Managing Director of Converged
Communications and Customer Interactive Solutions at Dimension Data.
