Dobson will focus on increasing 3Com's sales presence and marketing awareness with end users while improving channel effectiveness in the United States and Canada. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for NSGDatacom, Inc., a developer of wireline and wireless voice and data products. While there, Dobson created solution selling and marketing programs for key verticals and applications. He joined NSGDatacom when it purchased Advanced Switching Communications, where he had been Vice President, Worldwide Sales.
