Tech Data U.S. Offers VARs More Choices When Selecting Managed Services Partners

CLEARWATER, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- During its TechSelect Partner Conference in Las Vegas today, Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ:TECD) announced an addition to its growing slate of managed services infrastructure providers. Tech Data expanded its partnership with Advanced Technology Services (ATS) to provide resellers with access to the company's iTWatch(TM) Managed Services. Through Tech Data, resellers can already partner with ATS to deploy technicians to perform solutions installation, maintenance and repair services. Purchased separately or with on-site technical support, iTWatch offers a wide range of hosted network, server, desktop and printer monitoring and repair services resellers can brand as their own.

iTWatch Managed Services support Windows, Linux and Unix operating environments. Services are sold per user, per device and are available in three levels of coverage, which managed services providers (MSPs) can deploy to satisfy a wide range of end-user needs or leverage to complement existing service offerings. MSPs also have the option of partnering with iTWatch to handle all the monitoring and issue remediation on their behalf, or use the iTWatch Service Center dashboard to monitor alerts and take corrective action themselves, maintaining complete control over the end-user relationship.

-- Monitoring Services - Minimize downtime with proactive issue resolution via 24x7 server, router, switch, desktop, printer, storage, application database and Microsoft Exchange monitoring

-- Security Services - Provide 24x7 server, desktop and backup protection via managed VPN, firewall and anti-virus, remote software patches and alerts on restricted file access

-- Support Services - Access technical experts via 24x7 help desk support available to resellers or their end-user customers

-- Reporting - Track and log alerts, and generate work tickets via iTWatch Service Center dashboard; demonstrate value and return on investment to end users via monthly and quarterly reports

-- Advanced Services - Leverage iTWatch to provide additional services such as asset management, disaster recovery planning, security audits and Web site monitoring
