[May 16, 2008] WiMAX-enabled Syndesis Express solution introduced by Subex Tweet (Worldwide Computer Products News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Subex Ltd, a provider of OSS/BSS solutions for communications service providers, announced on Thursday (15 May) the availability of its WiMAX-enabled Syndesis Express solution, designed to help operators to quickly and efficiently define and deliver value-added services over WiMAX. According to the company, Syndesis Express is a pre-integrated solution bundle that provides subscriber-centric fulfillment for high-speed Internet, IPTV, VoIP, and other advanced service offerings. The solution enables service providers to introduce and automate the delivery of WiMAX-based services to their customers, across multi-vendor, multi-technology networks. Provisioning errors are reportedly minimized with the solution's flow-through automation and high data accuracy, increasing service provider responsiveness. The new Express solution enables service providers to deliver WiMAX-based broadband services and value-added services from a single provisioning platform, reducing integration costs and providing a unified platform for applications, fixed-line and wireless services. In addition, it can be used to offer next-generation services over multiple access technologies, including xDSL, FTTx or WiMAX, in this way lowering implementation costs.
