Together with regulatory approvals already received in the U.S., Japan and Europe, Wisair's WSR601 chip now enables Wireless USB deployments with a single SKU (stock-keeping unit) model. "On top of this, we understand that our OEM customers need to distribute a single hardware product to customers worldwide, regardless of the differences in regulatory emission requirements in different regions. Therefore, we have designed our chip to meet these requirements from the outset." The Wisair solution approved for operation in Korea includes a Wireless USB adapter, and is based on the Wisair WSR601 CMOS single chip. Wisair's WSR601 technology is currently in production with several ODM partners with shipments to end consumers expected towards the end of "This is a promising step toward the worldwide adoption of Wireless USB.
