At the RSA Conference, Lumeta, a provider of Network Assurance
solutions for enterprises and government agencies, announced the
immediate availability of the latest version of its flagship solution:
IPsonar 4.1.

Lumeta's IPsonar actively scans the network to collect all data related
to global network visibility.

Making the announcement at the RSA Conference, the company noted that
by using IPsonar, network managers, security managers and corporate
executives can accurately visualize what's on the network, drill down
to analyze potential areas of risk and identify appropriate corrective
actions.

New in IPsonar 4.1 is the ability to discover IPv6-enabled routing
devices connected to the network, the company noted..

"IPsonar 4.1's unique capability to detect IPv6-enabled devices
connected to the network will provide proof that all appropriate
systems have been transitioned to IPv6 in compliance with federal
rollout mandates," said Michael Markulec, chief operating officer,
Lumeta. "For all organizations, IPsonar 4.1 provides heightened levels
of security and efficiency by ensuring there is no hidden, or otherwise
inappropriate connectivity."
