Qwest Communications has announced the launch of qZone, a digital
content store with more than 1,400 PC games and software applications
available to Qwest broadband subscribers at qwest.com/qzone.

The initial qZone offering allows Qwest customers to download and
purchase the games and applications, adding the charges directly to
their Qwest bill without having to re-enter sensitive banking
information.

qZone gives customers access to top computer games, including 18 Wheels
of Steel: American Long Haul, Bejeweled 2 Deluxe and Mystery Case
Files. The site also offers dozens of software applications such as Web
page development software, a DVD player with creator functions, popular
foreign-language learning tools and other educational software. Games
and applications on qZone are regularly updated so customers always
have access to new items to discover and download, the company noted.

"At Qwest, qZone marks the beginning of our convergent content
capabilities, which we see as the next generation of bundling," said
Ken Rambo, product director at Qwest. "As more customers bundle
broadband, Digital TV and wireless services, they are also looking for
simple and integrated content experiences, and Qwest is bringing those
elements together for them seamlessly."

Qwest noted the qZone will allow it the capability to offer digital
entertainment and software products on multiple devices at home or on
the go.

"As Qwest's digital content and entertainment offerings expand beyond
PC content, the integrated digital content platform will allow
customers to receive cross-product content bundling on their monthly
Qwest bill," Rambo said.

Qwest has partnered with Mountain View, Calif.-based Cellmania, a
provider of mobile content management marketplace, to build the
bundled, multi-platform offering.
