DNF Security Unveils Falcon Series of Integrated IP Surveillance Servers for High-Performance Image and Video Management and RAID-Protected Storage

(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) LAS VEGAS, NV, April 2 / MARKET WIRE/ --

International Security Conference (ISC) West
-- Booth #1058 -- DNF Security, a Dynamic Network Factory (DNF) business
unit and provider of mission-critical IP surveillance solutions, today at
ISC West unveiled its Falcon series of entry-level and mid-range integrated
camera management servers for organizations in need of high-performance,
image/video management and RAID-protected storage in an all-in-one system.
Eleven new models are now available, including the Falcon 2400 system,
which is on display in booth #1058 in a real-world application environment
that gives integrators and administrators a first-hand view of the camera
management and storage integration capabilities of DNF Security.

With capacities ranging from 2TB to 40TB, the Falcon series delivers on DNF
Security's commitment to provide superior scalability and smaller form
factors than traditional analog digital video recorder (DVR) and network
video recorder (NVR) alternatives. All of the Falcon models feature
redundant, hot-swap components and comprehensive RAID protection. Each
server is also designed to create near- and long-term video archives for
periods ranging from one day to half a year. In addition, they support in
excess of 1900 sustained frames per second -- far exceeding standard
management software.

According to Robert Madej, product manager for DNF Security, the Falcon
series of servers is designed from the ground up to meet the demanding
requirements of surveillance applications, while freeing customers from the
proprietary constraints of conventional analog CCTV and DVR systems.

"When talking to numerous management software vendors and system
integrators, we realized they had trouble determining which systems and
servers were best suited to their environments," said Madej. "Although
servers and storage have standard benchmarking tools, the results don't
match well with surveillance applications, so our engineering team
developed the CAVS(TM) index, a suite of tests and tools to offer guidance
in real-world application performance."

Each Falcon series system has been graded with DNF's Continuous Aggregated
Video Stream (CAVS(TM)) index to measure performance in rigorous
surveillance environments, ensuring that each appliance meets and exceeds
customer requirements. Entry-level systems support a CAVS rating of 8
while larger systems are rated at 110. Each appliance is designed to
maximize uptime through built-in high availability features including split
video recording, Video-lok(TM) technology, RAID, clustering, load balancing
and more. In addition, DNF offers patented storage virtualization
technology to reduce data bottlenecks for increased efficiency.

Like all DNF Security systems, the Falcon servers also offer:

-- Support for environments of four or more cameras
-- Scalability to 40 terabytes
-- Best-in-class components for maximum IP and digital video performance
-- High-definition disk drive certification testing for lower hard drive
failure rates

Available in both tower and rack-mount configurations with the highest
performing models featuring two Quad-Core Xeon(TM) processors and up to 4GB
of internal memory, the DNF Security Falcon series is now available through
the company's nationwide reseller network. Suggested list prices start at
$2,271 for an entry-level system with up to 2TB of storage.
