FRANK PETRIE'S VIDEO SANDBOX PODCAST MARKS 100th APPLE TECH FRIENDLY EPISODE

JUPITER, FL/NASHVILLE, TN/CHERRY HILL, NJ – March 20, 2008 –Frank Petrie’s podcast brings humor, silliness, sarcasm and fun to what may be an otherwise serious world of technology. Celebrating his take on life, music, politics and all things Apple (News - Alert), this week marks the 100th episode of the weekly segment show. Petrie highlights promising new musicians, developers and comedians as well.

His loyal fans around the world, that have affectionately named themselves Boxheads, can participate in the show with audio, video and in their forums. The show has also gained attention from the Apple community, product developers, user groups and featured luminaries including author/editor/columnist Chris Breen, Screencasts Online’s Don McAllister, The MUG Center’s Chuck Joiner, author/columnist Andy Inhatko, author/columnist Bob Dr. Mac LeVitus, plus segment favorites, The Human Condition, Dennis Sellers’ Macsimum Opinion, and Spot The Seam.

“What makes this show so different is the fun,” reports Daniel East whose user group support network, The Apple Groups Team, has supported the show since its first episode. “Frank makes me laugh out loud and, the beauty of it is, there are inside jokes as well as the stuff right there in your face. He’s a wonderful guy who has always done so much for his community, for user groups, and for the publications he writes for – all on his own time and at his own expense. Humble, smart, curmudgeonly, and I cannot wait to hear what he will say next.”

According to Dennis Sellers, “Frank has a style that loosens some people up while nearly frustrating others.” Sellers, who is the publisher and Editor-in-Chief of MacsimumNews.com, appreciates Petrie’s approach so much that he brought him in as an Associate Editor. “The Video Sandbox is an excellent vehicle for Frank and the success of the show is a result of his outstanding work and his passion for what he does. He is never afraid to have an opinion on anything from Steve Jobs (News - Alert)’ keynotes to cable television to politics and just about anything else you can imagine.”

The Video Sandbox is a weekly video podcast that is available from iTunes, Blip.TV and from www.thevideosandbox.com every Friday evening. Some episodes may contain explicit content.
