Danish renewable energy investor Renewagy A/S expands solar energy production in Germany

Danish renewable energy investor Renewagy A/S said on Monday (3 March)
that it has signed a EUR21.8m turnkey contract for additional solar
energy plants in Germany.

The contract was signed with the German developer Colexon Energy AG
(formerly Reinecke+Pohl Sun Energy), in which Renewagy is the largest
shareholder with a 19.43% stake.

The contract covers the Waldeck, Michelin I, Mockrehna and Fritsch
projects located in Sachsen, Thueringen, Rheinland-Pfalz and
Baden-Wuerttemberg, respectively.

The projects have a combined capacity of 5.6 megawatt peak (MWp).

Renewagy recently invested EUR46.9m in three solar cell parks in
Bavaria, Germany.

Renewagy is headquartered in Virum, Denmark. Although established in
1980 the company focused on renewable energy with the acquisitions of
DKA Renewable Energy A/S and a stake in the German developer
Reinecke+Pohl Sun Energy AG in December 2007. Renewagy is listed on the
OMX Nordic Exchange in Copenhagen.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.30 euros (EUR).
