modu Forms Strategic Partnership with VimpelCom

modu announced that it has inked a strategic partnership with Russian
mobile network operator VimpelCom to offer modu s mobile portfolio to
its 50 million subscribers across Russia and the CIS.

At the heart of the modu ecosystem is a tiny mobile phone the modu -
that is fully functional and easy to use. The modu can be slipped into
a wide variety of modu jackets - stylish designed phone enclosures -
and modu mates modu enabled consumer electronics devices. modu's
ecosystem offers boundless possibilities in a simple way.

Consumers in these countries are ready for a mobile capability that
realises the full potential of personal communications, enabling them
to connect an endless array of devices on their terms, reflecting their
interests, personality and lifestyle.

modu is all about making new connections, and the partnership with
VimpelCom helps us achieve that goal. We are delighted that VimpelCom

The partnership with VimpelCom is among the first of a number of such
deals modu is negotiating with prominent mobile network operators
market to ensure that the modu platform achieves widespread penetration
and user uptake once products are available in the fourth quarter of
2008.

You might consider picking up a ball, a somewhat easy task. But when you're asked to do it by building a robot first, the job probably doesn't seem quite as easy. This was the task that the Northern Lights Robotics Team was asked to accomplish this past year for the annual FIRST Competition. FIRST, is For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. The competition brings teams from all over the country, who also build similar robots. The Northern Lights Team took 16th out of 54 teams this year, and today they were in Dakota Square Mall starting preparations for next year's competition. Members wanted to showcase what they built, but they were also hoping to gain some interest. And we're here to recruit new members, maybe get some people involved, anyone who can help or just want to be part of the team.
