Ultralife (Nasdaq: ULBI) Closed at $16.73. Today announced that it has
entered into a definitive agreement to form a joint venture with its
distribution partner in India to establish a battery assembly and sales
operation in Bangalore.

The joint venture company, of which Ultralife will own 51%, has
received approval by the Indian government and will be managed locally
by Ultralife's partner, Mr. B. R. Ganesh. The joint venture company
will assemble Ultralife power solution products and manage local sales
and marketing activities, serving commercial, government and defense
customers throughout India. ULBI is a current Focus stock at
SmallCapReview.

Labopharm (Nasdaq: DDSS) Closed at $1.98. Today announced that its
recently completed North American Phase III clinical trial for its
once-daily formulation of the antidepressant trazodone (study
04ACL3-001) achieved statistical significance for the primary efficacy
endpoint (p value of 0.0183).

The study also demonstrated significantly improved patient sleep
patterns in favour of trazodone. Labopharm plans to file a New Drug
Application (NDA) for its once-daily formulation of trazodone with the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration later this year.

"The positive results of this study not only demonstrate the efficacy
and safety of our once-daily formulation, but also the ability of our
formulation to significantly improve the overall quality of sleep -
there was significantly less awakening at night," said James R.
Howard-Tripp, President and Chief Executive Officer, Labopharm Inc. "It
is recognized that a major challenge in treating depression is having
patients comply with taking their medication due to slow onset of
action and exacerbation of sleep disturbance and agitation. As a
result, a once-daily depression treatment that also reduces agitation
and improves quality of sleep, thus reducing the need for add-on
therapies, should be well positioned in the antidepressant marketplace.
We believe that our once-daily trazodone formulation is such a
treatment."

Motorcar Parts of America (Nasdaq: MPAA) Closed at $7.60. Today
announced it has received an exclusive three-year extension of a supply
contract for new and remanufactured alternators and starters from a
major automotive retailer, with estimated aggregate sales of
approximately $50 million. Terms were not disclosed.

''The extension of this supply agreement secures an important business
relationship and enables both of our organizations to benefit from
anticipated increasing replacement rates as vehicles age beyond the
current 9.4 year average,'' said Selwyn Joffe, chairman, president and
chief executive officer of Motorcar Parts of America, Inc.

XO Communications (OTCBB: XOHO) Closed at $1.59. Today announced that
it is building new metro network facilities in Charlotte, North
Carolina which will enable the company to offer a broad range of
advanced IP-based voice and data communications services for the first
time to businesses and service providers across the Charlotte
metropolitan area.

XO Communications is expanding the reach of its 18,000-mile nationwide
inter-city network, which runs through Charlotte, by acquiring metro
network capabilities and establishing points of presence locations
across the metropolitan area. The company expects to begin offering its
services in the later part of the first quarter of 2008, and has
already begun building a local sales organization. To lead the new
sales organization, the company has appointed Josh Brant as XO's
general manager for the Charlotte market.
