MONTREAL, Feb. 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Cargair, a Canadian leading flight training organization, selects Mechtronix to provide a Flight Training Device (FTD) configured as a twin turboprop featuring Beechcraft King Air class aircraft with a conversion kit to multi engine piston aircraft Beech Baron 58. Cargair's major investment will significantly contribute to their global business development strategy. The device is scheduled to be delivered in February 2008 and they will be looking to obtain Level 5 certification by Transport Canada.

Cargair's recent successes, based on their vision & leadership on the flight training market, found in Mechtronix a product offer that would positively contribute to their continuous growth. The device will be used for IR, CRM and MCC training for the local and international cadet programs. Mechtronix strong presence in China and its honorable relationship with the CAAC were amongst the factors considered by the Canadian flight training organization in its purchase decision.

With a new training device, Cargair will be able to enhance its training capacity. The FTD will feature real time visual software supplied by Redifun Simulation Inc. (RFI), offering superior resolution and light point brightness. This RASTERflight(TM) image generator is a unique component of the visual system that provides locally generated weather, moving models and special effects bringing FFS visual quality to the FTD world. "Mechtronix' FTD will enable us to improve training while saving costs.
