MegaPath Bolsters Internet Performance and Productivity for MCG Architecture

(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)
MegaPath, a provider of managed IP data, voice and security services in
North America, announced that MCG Architecture doubled bandwidth and
reduced Internet costs by approximately 35 percent using MegaPath s
Bonded T1 service.

With eight offices in California, Nevada, Colorado, Ohio and New York,
MCG Architecture centralizes all Internet access through its Pasadena
headquarters. Because the company continually shares large graphic
files with customers and partners outside the company, it requires the
highest performance and reliability available.

Addressing our performance issues, MegaPath s Bonded T1 Service
significantly increased our bandwidth, reduced our access costs, and
improved productivity throughout the firm, said Howard Strassner,
Director of Information Systems at MCG Architecture. The entire upgrade
process was painless and MegaPath s highly skilled support team was
able to address any issues that arose.

The MegaPath Bonded T1 service enables small-to-medium sized businesses
to save money and enjoy superior performance over regular T1 lines.
This is because the service only requires a single router, which makes
it easier to connect to their Local Area Network (LAN) and reduces the
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). With the MegaPath Bonded T1 service,
customers also get the full 3 Mbps of throughput for a given session.
By contrast, the capacity of an individual T1 is limited to the
bandwidth of that single T1 circuit.

Customers trust MegaPath to reduce costs and increase productivity with
our leading edge data, voice and security services. Our Bonded T1
Service is delivering on that promise, enabling MCG Architecture to
support all of its critical business applications without impacting
their budget, said James Cragg, President and COO of MegaPath. By
eliminating the expense of enterprise class infrastructure investments
and the complexity of supporting separate T1 lines, the MegaPath Bonded
T1 Service allows fast growing small-to-medium size businesses to scale
their operations and meet their objectives without worrying about the
performance or reliability of their Internet access.
