Amalfi Semiconductor Hires New Vice President of MarketingLOS GATOS, Calif., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Amalfi Semiconductor, a developer of high-performance CMOS-based radio frequency (RF) and mixed-signal semiconductors for cellular handsets, today announced that Brian Daly, a former executive of Skyworks Solutions, Inc., , has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Daly's expertise in devising and executing successful business strategies with wireless handset manufacturers further strengthens Amalfi's management team as they prepare to launch their first CMOS-based Power Amplifier device into the cellular handset market. Mr. Daly brings to Amalfi over 14 years marketing and business experience in the wireless industry. Prior to joining Amalfi, Mr. Daly was the Vice President of Marketing for Skyworks Solutions, an innovator of high- performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors enabling mobile connectivity. During his eight years at Skyworks Solutions, Mr. Daly drove growth in the RF business at Skyworks and successfully secured numerous design wins with leading cellular handset manufacturers. Prior to Skyworks Solutions, Mr. Daly held management positions at Hewlett Packard, Ortel and Hughes Aircraft Company.
