Napster Expands Its Music Subscription Service Across New DoCoMo Mobile Phones in Japan

Napster (NASDAQ: NAPS) announced today that
the company's mobile music subscription service is available to NTT DoCoMo
customers through nine new models of the mobile company's line of
music-enabled handsets, the FOMA?705i series. The Microsoft? Windows
Media?-branded handsets let DoCoMo customers seamlessly download music
directly to their handsets or download music and playlists from their PC to
their phones.

The Napster-compatible handsets in the FOMA?705i series from DoCoMo,
Japan's largest wireless carrier, boasts the latest features in mobile
listening technology. By integrating the user experience of Microsoft
Windows? Vista? with the latest-addition mobile phones, DoCoMo
customers can manage their music from wherever they are.

Napster Mobile is live with nine carriers across Asia, the U.S., and Europe
-- DoCoMo, KDDI (Japan), AT&T/Cingular, Dobson, SunCom (U.S.), TMN
(Portugal), O2 (Ireland), Swisscom (Switzerland), and Claro (Puerto Rico).
In addition to DoCoMo's handset partners in Japan, the world's largest cell
phone manufacturers are also providing Napster compatible devices in the
U.S. and Europe including Motorola, Nokia, Palm, Samsung, LG, SonyEricsson,
